Then I travel via the highway of beer to New Hampshire for a first taste of Smuttynose. Since I am an IPA freak, I selected their regular version. Hopefully, I will build on this with more beers from the Smuttynose folks.
The rise of the Cascadian Dark! Oakshire makes some great stuff. Especially the Overcast Espresso Stout. Now here comes their take on the black IPA.

“Available only in 22oz bottles at present, Rt. 113 was the beer customers most requested be added to the brewery’s canned releases.
Rt. 113 will join Pikeland Pilsner and Phoenix Pale Ale as year-round releases and also still be packaged in the 22oz size.”
IPA. How I love those initials. When it is done right, there is nothing better. This one is right up there in the top 20.
