Eagle Rock Brewery is one of the standard bearers of the L.A. beer scene and they are now turning 8 and celebrating in hazy style!
Here are the initial plans for that day….
“And you’re invited to the party! Since we’re considered “so old-school” now in the exploding beer community in LA, we’re gonna celebrate with an old-school luau from 12p-6p on Sunday January 28, 2018. We’ll be serving up a whole roasted pig, offering a bunch of super-special beers on draft, AND releasing our 8-year anniversary beer! Juice Pop (hazy double IPA) will be released on draft and available in 4-packs of 16oz cans that day.”

Here we are at the tail end of 2017, and I am looking forward to January and the 8th Anniversary of Ladyface out in Agoura Hills….

The Ocho for Strand
Strand will be celebrating 8 years of Torrance brewed beers on November 18th.
If you haven’t been to there now, not as new, digs, well you are in for a treat because it is a lovely space. Might I suggest a 24th Street Pale be the first beer to toast with.
Crazy 8’s
Instead of one big blowout bash that winds through the Blue Palms and Fonda Theater, this year on 8 8 16, (Hey, that adds up!) the storied Hollywood craft beer haven will “be tapping 8 specialty kegs every day for 8 days.”
