Propagate Twice

The highly anticipated opening of the Blendery Tasting Room from Beachwood Brewing is coming up.

This won’t be the normal type of opening though. For one, this is a long term blending process that requires time. The goal is to be blending various ages of beer and this early in the game there simply isn’t enough aged beer to blend with new beer yet. Factor in that the regular Beachwood is still producing a staggering amount of beer on a small system which is another limiting factor in quantity.

Which leads to the tasting room only being open extremely limited hours. And I am not kidding here. For example this November 1st, they will be open at 11am and will stay open to 6pm unless the beer runs out and then they will close. The same pop-up hours will happen in December and February, beer willing.

Combine the love of Beachwood (demand) with that limited quantity (supply) and basic economics tells me to expect to wait in line with many a beer geek.

For those willing to brave those lines, the first Propagation Series beers will be available for sale and on draught at the Tasting Room on November 1.

Here are the details on the first two beers in the series….
Propagation Series 001: Ale with Brettanomyces a Petite Saison
900 bottles available for release – Limit 3 bottles

Propagation Series 002: Ale with Lactobacillus and Brettanomyces a Berliner Weisse
1250 bottles available for release – Limit 3 bottles
