El Segundo Brewing is known for their hops but they dabble in other styles including lighter beers but do not expect IPL’s slash CIPA. What you will see next is Gemeinschaft a Hoppy West Coast Lager with Chinook, Centennial, Amarillo, and Citra hops.
Monrovia’s Hop Secret has a new summertime brew out now, Hop Springs, a West Coast Lager.
Described as “a crisp and clean lager with a burst of West Coast hop flavors at ABV: 5.5%.”

“In 2019, Brothers Cascadia Brewing parked their coolship in our courtyard and we brewed a collaborative wort, inoculating it with local wild yeasts and bacteria. The beer sat in oak in our cellar for over three years before we split it into two batches, adding copious amounts of Blackcap Raspberries to one, and blending both with a one-year-old mixed culture saison. We bottle conditioned the two blends for almost a year and now, four years after the initial brew, Diamond Rain is ready to fall.”
If you are looking for a summer fruit explosion then look no further than Sangria Serenade from the Beachwood Blendery. It is a “Belgian-style sour ale fermented and aged in oak barrels with Grenache grapes, peaches, strawberries, and citrus. The People’s Republic of South Central are back with a new hazy IPA release, The BLVD with Citra, Nectaron, Galaxy and Sabro Cryo leading to flavors of key lime, cantaloupe and honeysuckle.

The Bruery has a lot of very creative beers each year. I do scroll by many of them but each time I do see one or two that pique my interest. Such as….
