Offshoot Beer Co. started as more or less the hoppy side of the Bruery but they are low key adding in lagers like Viaje and now a Czech-Style Pilsner with the punny name of Czeched Out…
One, Two Kiwis Before You
I hope you have been keeping up with the frenetic pace of One Batch Dispatches from Stone Brewing, cause another one is coming! With two New Zealand hops in tow.
Canieux
Some beers I never thought would ever come to cans, but then they do. Allagash Brewing is putting their wonderful and strong barrel-aged Curieux in cans this year.
I probably would have stuck with 12oz cans though.
Taxed
Yes, I agree. An 80 Shilling ale should come from a hand pump at your local. But I would rejoinder that I think it is better to have this particular style of ale out and accessible more.
Which is why I am glad that MacLeod’s has canned their Kings Taxes for the first time.
Denver Day – Wish I Could Have
When my beloved Portland Trailblazers win a second NBA title, I will want to savor it for awhile. So, despite not being a Nuggets fan, I am pro the Run It Back beer from Cerebral Brewing. Love the court logo on their as well.
Ogopogo Ales for ALS

Hazy for CA
The latest Firestone Walker Propagator beer is one of many in a group effort to celebrate California beer and support the California Craft Brewers Association, which is the non-profit that fights for craft breweries all over the state.
FW has chosen to brew a Hazy Imperial IPA. Look for it now.
Arnold
Angel City is pushing the Arnold Palmer name to the breaking point with Farmhold Palmer, a barrel-aged sour ale with tea & lemon. I am a sucker for beers with tea so I will have to find this one for summer.
GigaWhat
Three Weavers is joining the DIPA 19.2 crowd with Gigaton filled with El Dorado and Chinook hops for “bright & dank flavors of pineapple, stone fruit and grapefruit.”
Hot! Dog!
There are quite a few Pizza beers out there, some of the crazier ones with ingredients you might see in a pizza. But to my knowledge, no Hot Dog beers until now with The Spectacular, “A premium American pilsner made in collaboration with Hoffy (the hot dog brand) using premium pilsner malt and lightly hopped with HBC 586. This new Everywhere Beer Co beer is at a super low 4.4% abv so that your choice of condiments will shine.
