It has been a nine month journey but Three Weavers has three (fittingly) N/A beers in cans. Three months of work each is my math is right for a lager, Eest Coast IPA and a Hazy IPA.
To add more math, the near beers will be sold in six-packs.

Firestone Walker ain’t resting on their IPA laurels, and here is an upcoming new IPA from the Central Coast brewery….
HiDef Brewing can put some spring into your step with a raspberry, peach and passion fruit combo sour ale, Spring Reverb.
My gut biome and tequila don’t mix. Ditto for too much sour ale. Still, I have to admit that this Gose like sour from Paperback Brewing Co. has me intrigued.
Maybe it is the lime and coriander combo that is doing the heavy lifting for me.
Guivre is a dragon-like creature. But to beer fans it is the latest Saison from San Gabriel’s Ogopogo Brewing.
Readers of this blog will know that I like me a clever name and Radiant Beer Co. have come up with a good one for their latest American-styled lager, My Presence is a Present.
The Anaheim brewery describes it as “…a crystal clear straw body with some tight white foam. I gift out aromas of cracker, mild malt, and delicate herbs. I’m an absolute treasure of crisp carbonation with a dry, clean profile.”
I am glad that we here in L.A. are getting a little bit of Fremont Brewing beer. And I will be even gladder if I can find the collaboration IPA they did with local champion Beachwood Brewing.
Bravery Brewing has a new hazy IPA from their rotating Desert Creatures Series out now, featuring a cute fuzzy little creature, Tarantula.
The spider hazy “showcases Amarillo, Citra, and Ekuanot hops. This beer is citrusy and hoppy which helps make it a great fit for spring!”
I have never in all my years of beer and beer writing seen a beer with a descriptor such as Wonderbread but it tracks for the new IPA from El Segundo Brewing, We the People aka Spirit of ’76, which, to be fair also says you will get notes of Orange Creamsicle, Citrus, Pineapple and Peach.
The doorbell rang on a recent Tuesday, and lo and behold, I had a package from Anchor Brewing. I tore it open to find a lovely media sample box for their San Pancho Mexican lager.
That means, time to review…
First, I sampled the Yucca chips. Thumbs up. Then the Choco Amaranth squares. Not a thumb up or down. SP pours a bright orange color and the first sip reveals an interesting combination of nicely lager-y with an undercurrent of citrus. Not lime per se but certainly citrus. It is quite zippy on the tongue with a bit of metallic aftertaste. I am glad there was no faux lime experience, so the beer gets the biggest thumbs up.
