Last minute beer gift

Thanks to the ever alert Jay Brooks, I heard about another brewery going the Kickstarter route.

Pipeworks Brewing of Chicago is trying to get the funding to brew such offerings as
PipeDream and Hopverdomme. Belgian inspired American breweries are a great idea and catch on well with the public. Check out The Bruery or Upright if you don’t believe me.

Check out the video and decide. But I think this would make a great Christmas gift! Plus no shipping fees!

Mystery Brewing

Some days the mailman brings fun stuff. Today I got a package from >Mystery Brewing, the new brew start-up that I helped via Kickstarter.

That opener is a heavy duty wonder. And who doesn’t love getting a certificate? Especially one that says that I am a “patron” of craft beer!

I just can’t wait to try the beers!

Mystery Brewing UPDATE!

Here is the latest news (VERY GOOD) from Mystery Brewing

“We hit our goal – and with 10 days to go! A huge, hearty, and hefty thanks to everyone who donated – in the past two days, including the matching funds, we’ve raised over $17,000. That is just phenomenal. I cannot describe how difficult it will be to sit through the rest of my work day.

…We go on raising money for the next 10 days. Anything above goal means we’re that much closer to our first batch of beer and that much more of it. Kegs get ordered, ingredients are lined up, we look at warehouse space and refrigerated storage. We’re already on the path through licensing and getting ready to make beer.”

Just because they reached their goal doesn’t mean you shouldn’t become a backer. Think of the great beer you could help make a reality.
