Smog City has a wicked cool sour and aging program but they also impress with their IPAs. And there is a new one in 6-packs, Wow Pop! IPA flies under the “Crushable” moniker and per the brewery features notes of “juicy peach, pine needles, and toasted grain before arriving at a satisfying grapefruit rind bitterness.”

Ghosts with Thumbs
Just when I think that Brouwerij West has made too difficult a label, well, they go and top themselves. This time mauve, pink and blue clouds grace their latest IPA, Hitchhiking Ghosts. Oh and I bet the liquid inside it just as artistic.
Baykeeper
I am a huge proponent of the charity beer be it all the proceeds, part of the proceeds or even just raising awareness. Anchor Brewing has added a new IPA to their line-up, Baykeeper to honor that group’s 30th anniversary of being an advocate for one of the most iconic bays in the world.
IPA Meet Salami
This might be interesting to search for in your grocery store, Columbus Craft Meats now has an IPA salami. I don’t know if the spice to hop balance will showcase both but this looks to be a fun item to pair with your favorite hazy.
2018 Holiday Beer # 30 – Home for the Holihaze from Pure Project
We are close to the 2018 finish line, here is the next holiday ale…
A canned San Diego IPA from Pure Project.
2018 Holiday Beer # 28 – Hop Jesus from Bravery Brewing
We head north of Los Angeles to http://braverybrewing.com/ for their savior-tastic winter DIPA…
“Introducing HOP JESUS! This flavor savior is all about the hops. This Double IPA receives a triple dry-hopping of Amarillo, Cascade, Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe hops giving it bright notes of grapefruit, passion fruit, and tangerines.”
GinIPA
Hidden World of New Zealand has a new Gin that is also an IPA, or is it vice-versa?
Bad News – Now the Feijoa & Citra Hop version is out of stock but, since this whole gin endeavor is “a collaboration between Luke Nicholas of Epic Brewing Company and Anthony Sexton of Vaione Gin” then it might be worth looking for this brand and then stocking up on tonic too.
Tag It
Amongst the can designs, Boomtown is making quite a mark with their artist series. This time they have enlisted the artist DJ Neff to design their DIPA, “Graffiti”. It will be available in 4-packs and on draft at 12pm on Saturday, December 8th at their DTLA tasting room
Here is the beer info from the brewery…
“Graffiti is an 8.4% Hazy Double IPA brewed with Citra, Mosaic, and 007 hops. Enjoy notes of Pineapple, Tropical Fruit, Kiwi, Grapefruit and Lime Rind.”
2018 Holiday Beer # 7 – All Your Oats from Eagle Rock Brewery
We head hazy to local Eagle Rock Brewery and their multi-hued can of hazy IPA goodness, All Your Oats.
Available now. So get some before the 16oz cans are gone for the year.
