When I saw the label for this beer from Harland Brewing, before I looked at logos, I said to myself that it has a touch of Brouwerij West to it. By golly, it is a collaboration beer.

Karl Strauss calls their new collaboration with Harland Brewing Co. an “experimental Cold IPA”.
Brisky Business is described as “vibrant floral, citrus, and sweet fruit notes from this unique blend of Strata, Chinook, HBC 586, and 638 hops. The puffed jasmine rice lends to an extremely crisp mouthfeel and ultra-clean finish.”
I don’t know what ultra-clean is but leading with Strata hops has me intrigued.
First a tiny primer, a Baltic Porter is a Porter that’s fermented cold with lager yeast instead of ale yeast.
The collaborative version from Beer Co.’s Harland and Embolden is “fermented a Baltic Porter in our American Oak Foeder This version gives off notes of bakers chocolate, vanilla, oak tannins, and a bit of coffee.”
