We all know that agriculture is integral to being craft beer fans so it is really good to see that Brewjeria along with Norwalk Brew House and South Central Brewing have a collaboration that benefits the United Farm Workers. It is a pineapple and mango wheat beer appearing on March 30th.

The Short Lived Series from MadeWest Brewing has thankfully not been short lived and the latest has arrived with a gator on it and the latest partner, Firestone Walker.
It is a Cold IPA hopped with Mosaic, HBC 1019 and Nelson and the description is “bright hop character full of citrus and tropical fruit with notes of orange, honeydew and peach.”
The Crowns & Hops 8 Trill Initiative continues with a Great Notion release of Crowns and Axes Tart Ale “made with strawberry, pink guava, sea salt, and coriander.” Unique ingredients for a unique cause.
Brasserie de la Senne has gone back in craft beer time to collaborate We on a new beer, Pete’s Wicked Tripel. That name should sound familiar because it is Pete Slosberg. The Pete of Pete’s Wicked Ale fame from way back in the day. Slosberg is into chocolate now so the beer a Tripel with cacao nibs.
The description sounds very nuanced and layered, “The result is a very complex and at the same time highly drinkable beer, despite having 8 ABV. At first in the aromas we find touches of green coffee. They blend with the fruity fermentation aromas, a beautiful maltiness and a touch of citrus. Secondly, the cacao will develop in the after taste, in all its complexity, warmth and length. The cacao nibs also played a part in the interesting full texture of the beer.”
SoCal gets a nice amount of Fremont Brewing beers and they are collaborating again with a local brewer, this time Beachwood Brewing. The resulting beer is Tidal Track IPA. Look for “aromas and packed hop flavors from Mosaic, Citra, Centennial Cryo, and Chinook hops.”
