I have listened and now watched on YouTube the final seconds of Portland’s one and only NBA championship win many times and with Bill Schonely, the voice and totem of the Trailblazers retiring, I wish that I could find this beer….
Three cheers for The Schonz!
I will be reviewing beers from Bow & Arrow, the first Native woman-owned and operated brewery in the US. But SoCal beer fans can head to Brewjeria for a recipe collaboration beer that was released on the 18th.
“Native Land is a West Coast IPA at 6.1% ABV adapted from the original Bow & Arrow recipe and will be available on tap and in four packs. Our version of this delicious brew recognizes the ancestral land of the Tongva People. We will be donating a portion of proceeds from sales to the California Tribal Fund of the First Nations Development Institute.”
Not the most elegant portmanteau but the duo is super strong…
Fremont Brewing meets El Segundo for, you guessed it, an IPA.
I post a lot of collaboration beers but this new one spearheaded by Ogopogo Brewing has a long laundry list of co-conspirators….
…and it is not a hazy! It is an Imperial. Damn interesting line-up from multiple states.
Traffic trumps all in L.A. but generally, North Hollywood to Van Nuys is an easy ride and the breweries representing each valley city have joined forces for, what else? A hazy.
But I do like the evocative artwork on the label and the bottom band that is carrying the info. Might make a good Ho-ho-ho gift.
Don’t pause, just send it. By that I mean, send this new collaboration IPA to me…
Riip Beer Co. and El Segundo send hoppy beers all over the city, this might be another winner.
Covina’s Arrow Lodge & Inglewood’s Crowns & Hops have a new hazy release, Culture Vulture with Guava and Bird Pick Tea and hopped with Motueka, El Dorado.
We don’t get any Cincy Made Rhinegeist beer here in the Southland so this collaboration with Karl Strauss is as close as you can get unless you have Midwest travel plans coming up. The label is a little too colorful for me but a citrusy IPA sounds good.
I am not one to sign up for grocery delivery. I like to pick my own stuff and I stare at screens too much as it is. But I was intrigued by a company that was selling the not pretty but still perfectly fine food.
Now that company, Imperfect Foods has a beer made with New Belgium, a citrus IPA. No googly eyes included.
