Five Talons

One of my bottle shops stops is Talon Tap & Wine in Eagle Rock. Friendly people, you have a great selection that you can buy single cans of and there is a nice little bar in the back if you want to catch a game.

And this year, they are turning 5! There will be a special day of celebration for it on Saturday, October 5th.

I will take my chances with the bull as my dancing could cause way more harm.

Schedule It – Ogo-tober

Not a caption contest, per se, but what excites you most about seeing this photo from Ogopogo Brewing’s social media?

Here is your answer…

R.T. Rogers Brewing is a delightful little spot tucked up in the foothills.  If you haven’t visited yet, well there is a great opportunity to check it out when they have their 5th Anniversary celebration….

Persimmon-versary

Hard to believe it was only 2017 when Sage Plant Based Bistro expanded into brewing. Picking up a lot of “firsts” in the process . Echo Park’s first brewery. Women owned and brewed. Using local, organic ingredients including hops from their own farm.

Here is the brewery description of their 5 year anniversary beer, “we teamed up with our favorite partners Sow-A-Heart farm to make a saison loaded with fresh persimmons aged with Oak. With a caramel nose this beer is sweet and slightly tart from the persimmons with an oaky finish.”
