We go Deutch this month with two German brewed beers and to start, an American take on the Gose.
~LIGHT
Victory/ Kirsch Gose4.7% ABV
“Excite your senses with a sharp, sweet burst of fresh cherries. Sublime and effervescent, this bold and bright session ale has an enticing cherry-fruit character.”
~MEDIUM
Weihenstephaner/ beer Kristall Weizenbock 5.4% ABV
“In our golden-yellow crystal-clear wheat beer the fresh citrus flavour harmonises very well with spicy banana notes. The fine sparkling gives it a tangy and animated appearance. Throughout summer and winter, it’s a prickling experience. It goes well with fish, seafood, white meat or it can be enjoyed as an aperitif. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.”
~DARK
Hofbräuhaus/ Maibock 7.2% ABV
“By tradition, the first barrel of Maibock is tapped in the Hofbräuhaus in the last week of April, in time for the merry month of May. The success story of Munich’s oldest bock beer goes back as far as 1614. With its powerfully aromatic flavour and its robust alcoholic content, Hofbräu Maibock marks one of the high points in the beer-lover’s calendar!”
All of these beers can be found at Sunset Beer Co. (unless they got bought up real quick)
