Mountain Goats and Munich

I don’t know what the record for longest and truthful beer names is but The Best Ever Dark Munich Beer Out of Milton from Dogfish Head has to be close.

Whether or not you are a fan of the band, The Mountain Goats and the album name that inspired this beer, the description from the DFH website really sounds good for when SoCal actually slides into fall, “brewed with heaps of German Munich malt, debittered and huskless Chilean black malt, and red rye crystal malt. Old-fashioned slow-roasted corn meal and deeply nutty Abruzzi rye were also added to the mix, resulting in a richly layered Munich Dunkel that’s full of toasty, well-rounded, smooth, earthy flavors.”
