Here is the final featured review of January. Here in Los Angeles, there are breweries that get a special fruit delivery and add it to their beers. Stonefruit from Masumoto Farms, here is my review of what Cellador Ales did with their portion….
Pours a peachy color. Love the pouring and temp advice sticker. Of the three things listed on the label. None really pop out at me. There is a slight Chardonnay buttery note but the Masumoto peaches and dry hopped Nelson Sauvin isn’t popping here. It is tart for sure but then folds into softness at the end. Some slight peach pit aroma but very subtle to my nose. As it warms up a bit peach flesh does start asserting itself more. Akimbo would not be a top pick of the Cellador starting line-up.
