Long Name but Melodious
Ce N’est Pas la Fin du Monde sounds very smooth on the tongue as one says it. And considering how solid the Canadian brewery Unibroue is, I would wager this IPA, though out of the Belgian wheelhouse will be good.
“Regular” La Fin du Monde is a Strong Tripel Blonde. The new twist is described as a “New World IPA with a taste of cereals and tropical fruits.”

Of course Sam Adams and Dogfish Head have a sharing pipeline, that is not so strange and of course the Minute IPAs and Utopias are obvious as where to go first but I am still kinda on the fence about…..

Maybe Not So Strange Bedfellows – Part 1
Allagash Brewing Company and Crowns & Hops Brewing Co., are bringing Maine to Inglewood with Cur-8. Arriving in time for Black History Month, the new beer mashes up Crowns & Hops’ 8 Trill Pils pilsner with Allagash Curieux. A bourbon-y Tripel-esque pilsner.
Here are more details about the partnership, “Cur-8 is part of the new Eight Trillion Allies Collaboration Series that partners established breweries with Black-owned beer brands to accomplish true representation in the brewing industry. “8 Trill Pils” is named after a statistic from a W.K. Kellogg Foundation report, “Business Case for Racial Equity.” The report suggests that the U.S. stands to realize an $8 trillion gain in the national GDP by closing the racial equity gap by 2050.”

Under the Layers
Marine Layer is the latest beer from Offshoot Beer Co. and they are going down layers to a session IPA.

Puffy
Way back in 2022, Three Weavers brewed Citra Puffs, a hazy IPA. That beer has been downshifted into the more approachable pale ale category with the slightly altered name of Citra Puffs Juicy Pale Ale. Below the image is the brewery description…
“Citra, more Citra, some Mosaic, a little Comet, topped off with a final sprinkle of Citra all comes together in an easy-drinking 5.2% ABV package delivering a cornucopia of punchy fruit aromas. Just a sample of notes from our sensory panel: ruby red grapefruit, orange hard candy, lemongrass, mango, dankity dankness, pineapple juice, lime zest and passionfruit.”
Hops & Rice
Are You Hoppy Like Me? from 21st Amendment Brewery might just be onto the next hoppy trend. Big in ABV but light due to rice in the bill could really showcase rotating hops varietals.

Legend
Some beers just have more meaning behind them, such is the case of The Legend from Long Beach Beer Lab.

Near Hazy
Rick’s Near Beer launches Rick’s Hazy their second non-alcoholic craft beer this month. I don’t know if strict adherents to Dry January are cool with the contains less than 0.5% ABV. But I am glad that their brand extending.
