Three Weavers is joining the DIPA 19.2 crowd with Gigaton filled with El Dorado and Chinook hops for “bright & dank flavors of pineapple, stone fruit and grapefruit.”
Hot! Dog!
There are quite a few Pizza beers out there, some of the crazier ones with ingredients you might see in a pizza. But to my knowledge, no Hot Dog beers until now with The Spectacular, “A premium American pilsner made in collaboration with Hoffy (the hot dog brand) using premium pilsner malt and lightly hopped with HBC 586. This new Everywhere Beer Co beer is at a super low 4.4% abv so that your choice of condiments will shine.
12 Dortmunders
I certainly hope you were not expecting Enegren Brewing to bring out a 12th Anniversary IPA. Nope, only lager and pilsner guesses accepted.
This year, they are going for a Dortmund-Style Lager. Sounds like a fun break from the norm to me.
Lager Segundo
El Segundo Brewing is known for their hops but they dabble in other styles including lighter beers but do not expect IPL’s slash CIPA. What you will see next is Gemeinschaft a Hoppy West Coast Lager with Chinook, Centennial, Amarillo, and Citra hops.
Hop Springs Eternal
Monrovia’s Hop Secret has a new summertime brew out now, Hop Springs, a West Coast Lager.
Described as “a crisp and clean lager with a burst of West Coast hop flavors at ABV: 5.5%.”
Wish I Could Get It – Diamond Rain
We head to Astoria for a super limited coastal coolship combo of Fort George Brewing and Brothers Cascadia Brewing. Diamond Rain…
“In 2019, Brothers Cascadia Brewing parked their coolship in our courtyard and we brewed a collaborative wort, inoculating it with local wild yeasts and bacteria. The beer sat in oak in our cellar for over three years before we split it into two batches, adding copious amounts of Blackcap Raspberries to one, and blending both with a one-year-old mixed culture saison. We bottle conditioned the two blends for almost a year and now, four years after the initial brew, Diamond Rain is ready to fall.”
A Serenade
If you are looking for a summer fruit explosion then look no further than Sangria Serenade from the Beachwood Blendery. It is a “Belgian-style sour ale fermented and aged in oak barrels with Grenache grapes, peaches, strawberries, and citrus. Notes of jammy strawberry, citrus and raspberry shine in this balanced blend.”
New from PRSC
The People’s Republic of South Central are back with a new hazy IPA release, The BLVD with Citra, Nectaron, Galaxy and Sabro Cryo leading to flavors of key lime, cantaloupe and honeysuckle.
Look for it on their website or in distribution.
35!
Not many breweries can put 35th anniversary on a label but North Coast Brewing has ….
…if it is Old Rasputin good, you might want to pick one up.
Barley Smoked
The Bruery has a lot of very creative beers each year. I do scroll by many of them but each time I do see one or two that pique my interest. Such as….
…rye and barrel is just a great start and barleywine and smoked make things unique so I will look for it.
