These “new IPAs with a retro movie poster look. We are starting it off with an out of this world double IPA called “ABDUCTED IPA.”
Traffic trumps all in L.A. but generally, North Hollywood to Van Nuys is an easy ride and the breweries representing each valley city have joined forces for, what else? A hazy.
But I do like the evocative artwork on the label and the bottom band that is carrying the info. Might make a good Ho-ho-ho gift.
Round two of the Black is Beautiful campaign has an excellent start with a collaboration between Fremont Brewing and Inglewood’s own, Crowns & Hops.
El Segundo Brewing has a way with hops and this time around it is a tried and true trio – Centennial / Chinook / Simcoe
Plus, I think this modern-spare design is really well done. The last one, Change of Plans was especially good.
Down Orange way, Chapman Crafted is going Nitro with “Oats On The Water is a classic Oatmeal Stout on NITROGEN. The rich flavors of dark baker’s chocolate are layered with notes of dried fruit to create a delicious, full bodied beer.”
A common refrain on this blog is the chestnut, “haven’t talked about this brewery in a long time”. File this under that as well.
