Thanks to my beer source in the Illinois, here is a review of a great Wisconsin beer…

New Glarus Crack'd Wheat
A combo of hefe and pale ale that is dry hopped and bottle conditioned. Count me in.
Central Waters Brewing
A brewery that makes great beer and is enviromentally conscious? Excellent. Central Waters has just released “Shine On” an easy drinking red ale, made to commemorate our solar hot water system and our partnership with the Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA). Enjoy a pint, and GET YOUR SHINE ON!
New Glarus
You could celebrate America’s revolution with some nice New Glarus Organic Revolution which is made with organic Pilsner and Caramel malt, organic German Hallertau Hops, and nothing else. The use of 100% organic hops is even more than what’s required by the USDA, and it was just recently re-certified as organic.
New Glarus Brewing
This is one of two breweries that I wish had beer here in Los Angeles. I have had the Belgian Red and the Raspberry Tart and both were beyond excellent. To give you an idea of the styles they have, here are their “unplugged” beers for 2009….Iced Barleywine, Imperial Saison, Eisbock and an Olde English Porter. Makes you want to go to Wisconsin.
