Sometimes a day just yields more than it should. My March beer drinking had a great start one day, mid-virus scare. Southland Beer had a great tap list but I went with a Blonde Ale from a murky IPA known brewery, then got a special edition coffee porter can and a re-visit of a Saison. All of which were excellent, but a can I got to-go snagged the second spot and a (new to me) Russian River beer ran away with top prize.
Ever and Ever from Casa Agria was my first IPA from that brewery and from cool can art to aroma to sip was excellent, But Apical Dominance was magnificent. The aroma on this hoppy pilsner was enormous. Just so much grapefruit essence, then the taste was balanced but never teetered to far to pils or too far to hops. One of those beers that you finish and then realize that you should have bought more.
