Bitter Brewer from Surly

I still can’t get it here (in a large, large beer market) so I thought I would tantalize others as well with the Minnesota English style 4% summer session seasonal.

” A toast and Marmalade character from British Malt and American Hops. Dry hopping brings the Floral Citrus aromas.”

Abrasive

Not my posts (hopefully), no this is another Surly beer added to their line-up of canned beer. I have yet to mark Minnesota off my list and cans are lighter than bottles. Hint, hint. Nudge, nudge.

from the new Surly website“Pale in color, this over-hopped, under-brewed Double IPA has almost twice the amount of hops & malt crammed in the can.”

Buzz Breweries

There were many beers that I wanted to have while in Denver but what is also great is hearing about breweries that are popular at home and praised for great beer that are brand new to me.

Here are three breweries to watch:

They had beer at the rare beer event and their booth was very crowded.

Michigan is the place to watch for beer. This booth had lines as big as Dogfish and New Glarus.

Twice I overheard fellow GABF'ers tell people to try their beers. Plus, love that logo.
