Follow Sean Inman to the best in craft beer
Not to stereotype but I would have thought that a Baklava based beer would have come from a place with a large Eastern European contingent. But this new pastry stout comes from Deschutes and it actually sounds quite delicious based on the special ingredients list as well as the tri-barrel approach.
2012 has been a good year at The Bruery and here is a snapshot of their holiday offering…
“This is the only golden ale in the bunch but it definitely packs a holiday punch. We spiced up this 11.5% ABV ode to Winter with cinnamon, allspice and ginger along with some delicious sweet and tangy pineapple.”
After finally having my first Great Lakes beer at the Beer Bloggers Conference, I am looking forward to maybe finding this under my tree!
Another really cool label with great graphics. And if Edmund Fitzgerald is any indication this spiced ale should be really good.

Cisco Brewers of Nantucket have been brewing since 1997.
They have a nice roster of beer including the Drumkin Spiced Ale made with local pumpkins and Celebration Libation made with cinnamon and cloves.
