Snake River Snow King / Wyoming
“Snow King Mountain is Wyoming’s first ski area founded 75 years ago by Neil Rafferty. Generations of Jackson Hole skiers have cut their teeth on the King. Home to the Jackson Hole Ski Club, Snow King is one of the steepest little hills around. Snow King Pale Ale is a copper colored English American hybrid. On tap in the pub, around town and in a commemorative can, this special pale ale will only run through the winter.”

“A spiced Belgian style Ale for cozying up with, BDN has grains of paradise, Anise and dried figs added for festive revelry. Only available at the pub, we also have an extremely limited amount of bottle conditioned Biere De Noel which makes for a great present. Stop in and grab one before they’re all gone!”

Since the US National team likes to use the “Don’t Tread on Me” logo, I thought I would pick a beer from Snake River Brewing in Wyoming.
The beer is Custer’s Last Ale. According to the brewery, “This beer is an English pale ale, full bodied and copper colored. The hop flavor and aroma are strong and assertive. Caramel malt and English yeast produce a nutty and fruity character. Dry-hopping in the conditioning phase completes the package. Custer’s Last Ale has an alcohol content of 6.0%.”
