New Norwalk

Norwalk Brew House and founder Ray Ricky Rivera are transitioning to a physical location after years of being a little bit of contract brewer and a little bit of distributor too.

According to Rivera, “Norwalk Brew House you’ll enjoy fresh beer brewed onsite and special one-off batches only available at the taproom. We’ll also offer a rotating selection of guest beer by other Latino owned breweries.”

The crowdfunding campaign launches via Indiegogo Monday 8/5/24 @ 9am.

El Mundo

Norwalk Brew House has a worldly new beer and it “is an homage to the West Coast and our love for our Mexican-American culture.”

The name to look for is El Mundo Hazy IPA and you might see it at some beer shoppes but it will be a bit of a hunt so keep your eyes peeled and use the beer finder on their website.

Golden

Norwalk Brew House has a new Mexican-Style lager with a golden twist, Agua De Oro.

Here is the write-up from the brewery, “This beer is an homage to Latinas in professional sports and women in the commercial brewing industry.

In honor of Latino Heritage Month, we partnered with 4x Olympian Brenda Villa whose Hall of Fame career and 4 Olympic medals has earned her the distinction of being the most decorated athlete in the world for women’s water polo.  As a first generation Mexican-American, Brenda’s story exemplifies what it means to live the American dream. Agua De Oro amplifies Villa’s achievements while doing good in the process.

If honoring an Olympian wasn’t enough, the beer also “serves as a fundraiser benefiting The Brenda Villa Foundation, the nonprofit organization that supports youth aquatic programs in underserved communities.”

Make and Do

Norwalk BrewHouse will be launching an Indie-GoGo campaign and one of the perks offered is the above glass. Now, I have more glassware than I can handle but I do like the simple slogan presented. Very Maine Beer Co. clear in the messaging.

Do good things today and tomorrow and then reward yourself with a beer.

Norwalk is Collaborating

Quite the range of cities for this triple collab….

You’ve got wine country, SLO and L.A. combining on a hazy IPA.

“A portion of proceeds from this beer will be donated to
OC Mariachi Kids in honor of the late great Maestro Zavala.”

Clean Up

The combo of Brewjeria, South Central Brewing and Norwalk Brew House are back at it with another charity beer…

“Our newest collaboration to benefit car wash workers has a label, is being brewed this week and will be out in January! Once again we have awesome artwork by @laloalcaraz1 with layout by @hopsandhues.

@brewjeriacompany, @norwalkbrewhouse & @south_central_brewing_company have teamed up with the CLEAN Carwash Worker Center – to improve upon the original wheat ale with pineapple and mango that supported street vendors.

Car wash workers in Los Angeles County have been hurt badly by COVID-19. To help alleviate some of the financial burdens, we have partnered together for this special collaborative project.

A portion of proceeds of this special beer will support the car wash workers’ emergency fund, a cash assistance program that is providing workers with cash and/or grocery gift cards. The fund is being organized by car wash workers and the leadership of the CLEAN Carwash Worker Center.

Los Car-Washeros will be released January 2021 – available to-go in four packs (16oz cans) from our Pico Rivera location. As well as select retail stores.”
