I will be presenting on the topic of how to be a Beer Geek and not a Beer Snob. A simple, by the numbers approach to enjoying good craft beer to the maximum without becoming insufferable.

The program starts at 7pm and you will be able to taste some great beers like Angel City Angeleno IPA, Guinness,Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, New Belgium Fat Tire, Santa Monica Brew Works 310, Goose Island Sophie, Bear Republic Racer 5, The Bruery Mischief and Anderson Valley Barney Flats Oatmeal Stout.

If you haven’t checked out the scene downtown then come see what is going on. (Then tell the bar staff that you want more local beers on tap!)

The JW Marriott at L.A. Love has begun a new series of drinks seminars ont Wednesdays at their Mixing Room and gLAnce bar in the hotel.

“Activity Table,” will offer mixology lessons one Wednesday, a wine seminar on another and more importantly will also offer adventures in craft beer.

Now, this is where it gets fun. Beer Search Party, aka, me will be hosting on October 28th. It will be pumpkin themed. So if you want a recap of gourd beers through the years plus taste a few, then come on downtown.

Here is the tentative list of beers:
Anderson Valley Fall Hornin’
Almanac Pumpkin Sour
Ninkasi Imperial Pumpkin Sleigh’r
RedHook Out of Your Gourd Pumpkin Porter
Elysian Dark O’ The Moon
