For the Vets

Chapman Crafted in Orange will have two cans released today with one being a Veterans Day beer!

Starting at 12pm. Thank You For Your Service a “hazy IPA is massively dry-hopped with Galaxy, Citra, & Amarillo giving it the most tropical nose followed by a hop explosion on your tongue. We brewed this beer specifically for the celebration of Veteran’s Day. We teamed up with a local organization called, @patriotsandpaws For every 4-pack and pint sold in the Tasting Room a $1 donation will be given to Patriots and Paws.”

You can also pick up the Hoppy Lager Yes Chef! which is one of my favorites from this brerwery.

Both cans will be released this Friday, November 10th @12pm. Thank Your For Your Service $19 4-pack ($4.75/can), Yes Chef! $16 4-pack($4/can).

A Crafted Year

Time does fly. We are coming up on the 1st Anniversary for
Chapman Crafted in Old Towne Orange.

On Saturday, August 12th they will be throwin’ a “good old fashion “Old Towne Block Party” because who doesn’t like a block party? We will have activities for the kids, board games, coloring books, cookies, and balloon maker on hand. Pets are always welcomed. The entire brewery will be open with beer pouring from multiple locations. Corn hole, washers, ping pong, and other games will be on hand. Food trucks will be supplying the grub all day.”

There is one other additional trick up their sleeves, the very first Chapman Crafted can release! What does brewer Brian Thorson have in store for that?

Lagers Only – Part 2

In two days time, you can sip on a plethora of lagers AND hear the story behind them at Lager Your Head.

The event will be held at Barbara’s at the Brewery and on hand will be Bob Kunz of Highland Park Brewing, Mark Jilg from Craftsman, Brian Thorson from Chapman Crafted and Tyler King from the new Brewery Rex.

Those who have tuned their Facebook feed to beer (instead of politics and memes), may have run across the above photo on the feed of Chapman Crafted recently.

The Cypress Street location appears to be close to opening which means instead of hunting down kegs that have popped up in L.A., you can go straight to the source.
