Anchor Brewing has re-imagined the first brewed in 1975 Anchor Liberty Ale into a whole new hoppier eagle, Liberty IPA It is still brewed with Cascade hops but new hop varieties—Nelson Sauvin and El Dorado have been added to create a new beer with a new and cleaner design.
In craft beer timelines, an update / line extension was probably well past due.

Clausthaler must have read my blog. I have bemoaned the gluten-free and non-alcoholic options that seem to have refused to hop over any flavors that are off-putting to regular craft beer drinkers with dry hopping.
Now if I can find a bottle to try, I will review how the mighty Cascade hop makes N-A taste.
