Chimay has been putting some of their classic Belgian ales into barrels and this year, the new Barrel-fermented Grand Reserve is aged in “barrels of Brandy sourced from one of the oldest wine regions in the world”. It is certainly on my extra long wish list.
Looks like we will be able to cart cans of the justly lauded Duvel Belgian Golden in cans!
Just look for the black can with the big red D on it.
Clever names still abound in the craft beer world. In my top 10 beer names is the canned creation of New England brewing, Neighbor of the Beast.
