Mikkeller Beer Bar

I do not know how a person can brew across the world and have another job and now provide enough beer for bar dedicated to his excellent concoctions. Mikkel must work 27 hours a day. I am glad he does though.

“The grand opening of the Mikkeller beer bar in Viktoriagade 8BC, Vesterbro, Copenhagen will take place on wednesday May 5th at 17:00.
The opening will feature a huge number of new beers from Mikkeller and beers from the best brewers in Europe and the US. The opening events will go on and new beers will be tapped from May 5th-May 8th.”

Beer Temple

Not to be confused with the Church of beer. This is a beer bar in Amsterdam that specializes in craft American beer. If you are in the area and you want a taste of home, this looks the place to be. Beer Temple has Anchor, Flying Dog, Great Divide, Uncommon Brewers, Left Hand and Southern Tier ON TAP!

Put it on the list of beer spots to hit before you can’t!

Pint’s Pub

Denver, like Portland and now Los Angeles is full of great places to sit down and have a great craft brew or two. Pint’s Pub marries the English pub with the American brewpub. All of their beers sound great but the Dark Star caught my eye.

Fatheads Saloon

I like to highlight beer places that are trying to do better. There are so many striving for mediocrity chains out there getting people’s hard earned money. I think more people need to go here….(if you are in the Pittsburgh area of course)
