Enegren Brewing will be reaching the 14th Anniversary mark on July 19th and they have a special new beer readied for the occasion that has me excited, a M. Hood Helles Bock, a style that is so very rarely seen but one that is right in the wheelhouse for this brewery.
Beachwood Brewing has reached the 14 year mark and will be celebrating, more than likely with an IPA to mark the occasion. So pick your favorite Beachwood spot from either PCH or Long Beach or Bixby Knolls to raise a glass.
How does one celebrate a 14th anniversary? Going gold and going cask is how. El Segundo Brewing will be bringing out a new IPA and some fun casks on Saturday May 17th.
The caskfest consists of 6 casks made by each member of the ESBC brew team.
-DDH 14th Anniversary IPA
-Clásica Mexican-Style Lager with honey, grapefruit and rosemary infused with bourbon
-Burn Off Hazy IPA with serrano peppers and sumo mandarin zest
-(the yet to be released) Crowner Kölsch w/ cacao nibs and coffee
-Harvest Legend Rice Lager with yuzu and ginger
-Stylus Stout with chocolate, vanilla, hazelnut
And that new IPA you ask? Well it is a West Coast IPA loaded with Strata, Citra, Citra Dynaboost, Amarillo, Columbus Cryo, and Simcoe hops.
Now, a little closer on the calendar, Smog City is gearing up for a big bash this May because why not go big for the 14th right? Clear your schedule for a trip to Torrance and either enter the multiverse or the upside down.
Tony’s Darts Away in Burbank has reached year 14 which means another version of the Darts Away IPA is drawing closer. And a whole weekend of fun on May 25th and 26th.
For 2024, TDA has enlisted four breweries to collaborate with. Beachwood Brewing, Highland Park Brewery, MadeWest Brewing and Stalking Horse.
There will be food specials and even more special beer tappings throughout the weekend.
Eagle Rock Brewery is turning 14 in 2024 and, of course, there will be a big anniversary party and their new roommate Party Beer Co. will be attending this joint Pajama Party there on Saturday, Feb. 17th from noon – 6pm.
Per anniversary tradition there will be special beer offerings plus karaoke, Mario Cart and food trucks.
