Next up in the Christmas countdown comes from Lost Abbey, Gnoel de Abbey…
Holiday Beer # 15 – Snow Cone from Wolf’s Ridge
If someone actually made a snow cone with hops, I would snap it up especially in holiday hot L.A. But Wolf’s Ridge Snow Cone would be a good stand-in.
Holiday Beer # 14 – Snow Cave from Crux Fermentation
Next up is a cave that I would be happy to be in..Snow Cave from Crux Fermentation Project.
“Boasting an alluring spice character from Belgian yeast and suggestions of seasonal dark fruit, Snow Cave is a nuanced sipper you can cozy up with around the fire pit.”
Holiday Beer # 13 – Holiday Ale from Narragansett
Narragansett is our next offering with a tree on the label. Today is their Holiday Ale “brewed a festive ale with cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and orange peel to toast the season.”
Only 470 cases were brewed though and worse it’s only available in Rhode Island.
Holiday Beer # 12 – St. Festivus from the Brewer’s Art
Next up in the holiday hit parade comes from The Brewer’s Art. St. Festivus is a Winter Warmer style beer from the Baltimore brewery and restaurant.
Holiday Beer # 11 – Winter Lager from Brooklyn Brewery
Since I am California based, I had to do a double-take at the label for the Winter Lager from the Brooklyn Brewery before I saw that it was a coat. When it is 90 degrees on Thanksgiving, one doesn’t need fur-lined coats.
Holiday Beer # 10 – Kentucky Christmas from H.U.B.
Today we go to Kentucky via Oregon and the Hopworks barrel-aged Christmas ale.
Holiday Beer # 9 – Old Abominable from Stoudt’s
Pennsylvania is our next holiday stop for a non-abominable barleywine from Stoudt’s.
Holiday Beer # 8 – Ten Lords a Leaping from The Bruery
The Bruery has finally made it into double digits and in a few short years will be done with this damn song! This year the Lords are A Leaping.
Holiday Beer # 7 – Hanukkah from He’Brew
We close out the first week and the month of November with the 2017 Pass the Beer from He’Brew and Shmaltz Brewing</strong>.
