Review – When The Time is Heights West Coast IPA from Everywhere Beer

The ten is for The Heights Deli, a lovely beer spot where I can spend tons of money. They have spots in Lincoln Heights and also Glassell Park. The GP spot has the same great sandwiches as LH but has a smaller but slightly different beer selection but both are awesome spots.

Everywhere Beer did a special IPA for them and it pours a light yellow. The aroma is light and a bit on the catty side. At 6.8% abv, it is a lighter IPA but not by much. Nice bit of carbonation here. More woodsy and dank than anything.

In the Heights 2

Count me as a fan of The Heights Deli and Bottle Shop and now there will be a second outpost, this time on San Fernando Boulevard in the Glassell Park neighborhood.

According to my intel, they will be taking over from the previous liquor store tenant. Look for the same blue color and The Heights font on the building. The big clue is the #2 that you will also see painted on the facade.

I will pass on more info when available, the best news is that the “when will you open?” question has changed in recent days from a shrug emoji to, we are open.

In the Heights

Looks like Lincoln Heights is getting a bottle shop & deli in the form of The Heights. Little more information than that can be gleaned as of now.

Google search, Facebook search and the like bring up the same two thin posts from Eater LA and Eastsider. There will be pizza, cheese and craft beer and it is on North Broadway.

When more details emerge, I will let you know if it should be on your beer buying stops. Unless you know readers have the scoop.
