Needed or Not? – Seltzer Air Freshener

Lavender is a love it / hate it smell. Wife can do without it in its entirety while I can enjoy a small sample of it. So this….

…car air freshener from Green Cheek Beer Co. will not grace the inside of the family car but I think it is a funny idea and a great way to get that logo out in the world. And as a bonus the hard seltzer part has been removed.

Needed is the verdict!

Coven

Following the L.A. beer scene for as long as I have, there are certain beers that stick in the memory, one of those is Triple White Sage from Craftsman Brewing.

Now Fort Point has a sage beer plus lavender and citrus on a rice lager base.

I hope to try this because I think this is a great combo.

Sour + Marionberry + Lavender

This sounds like an intriguing combo of flavors from Deschutes. Lavender can be an overpowering aroma but I am not sure it is as powerful as a flavor component. Marionberries are great for sour, because they do not have the pucker that blackberries can have. Throw in that this is in cans and I am sold.

LABW11 Review – Echo Echo Echo from Smog City

This new sour from Smog City uses second run peaches with a touch of lavender. Pours a yellow/orange color. Peach skin lightly hits the nose.  The taste is quite gentle with a peach flesh and close to pie spice mix but the sour really amps the total package up. The lavender is hitting from a different angle.  As it warms, it takes on a lemonade quality. One of JP’s recent favorites and I can see why.
