Follow Sean Inman to the best in craft beer
When in Los Angeles, you can obviously get great tacos but pizza and hamburgers are not too far behind either. And it is that last food item that interests us today because this month, Highland Park Brewery has an interesting line-up that will pair very well with their pilsners….
…the last one, Yellow Paper is darn good but I am even more intrigued by what Fluid State from Ventura and ISM from Long Beach are cooking up.
Tomorrow on FoodGPS, I re-visit Stout. It is a burgers & craft beer spot that started in Hollywood and has an outpost in Studio City with two more locations in Pasadena and Santa Monica coming soon.
So, if you haven’t been to Stout in awhile, read my post and check out Stout’s pairing beer with food tips and consider making a visit to the Studio City outdoor patio and watch the traffic flow on Ventura Boulevard while you enjoy your lunch or dinner.
Beer and pizza is my favorite pairing but running a close second is beer and burgers. And thankfully, there are great burger places popping up that have the same craft ethos as our beloved breweries.
One of them that is inching ever closer to L.A. is Eureka! Burgers.
The closest locations are Redlands or Santa Barbara as of now but that just encourages the old-fashioned road trip. Head to Hangar 24 then hit Eureka in Redlands. Or go to Hollister then Eureka in the Santa Barbara area.
