Next month up in Sierra Madre, R.T. Rogers Brewing will celebrate their 6th year of brewing beer in the quaint little neighborhood.
If you have not been, it is a lovely place with a garden patio out front and a cozy bar area where you can sit near fermenters if you like. Both the space and beer list have a pub feel to them in a way that is different from many taprooms in L.A.
I am on record that I will not be watching/following the World Cup this year, but on the 19th, I just might follow the Whirled Cup at Arrow Lodge Brewing.
The Covina (and coming Arts District) brewery has taken a Cruyff Turn to a session IPA for their 6th Anniversary beer.

Continuing with numerical fun. 8/21/21 at 2pm is the start of 818 Brewing‘s 6th Anniversary party. This year held in the parking lot. More details on the social media.
Side note – the Glendale Trader Joe’s has been carrying 818 beers so you can check out there line.
Now, to my eye, the six logo on the anniversary beer for MacLeod Ales looks a lot like the Trailblazer logo but with a bit lopped off. So I already like it. Factor in that this is a big Imperial Stout and I am hooked. Might make a trip to pick-up one of these boxes.
3 weeks from today, Pacific Plate is going to go all Tiki for their 6th anniversary because 6 is the tiki year, right? Follow their social media streams to make sure you get all the details.
The numbers keep getting bigger in the Los Angeles beer world as Sunset Beer Co., purveyor of to-go and draft beers is turning six.
Obviously this calls for a 6th Anniversary Party which will be November 4th. There will be snacks and food and a taplist that will more than likely include some real gems. Follow their social media for further news.
In about three weeks time, Enegren Brewing will throw a party celebrating their 6th anniversary on Saturday, August 19 at 11 AM – 10 PM
And if you like rum, you will be pleased because they are releasing a special anniversary beer – a Rum Barrel Aged Dopplebock.
There will also be live music and food from Disgustingly Delicious and Baby’s Badass Burgers.
Coming on the heels of 6 Bursted IPA’s is a classy silver label from El Segundo for their upcoming 6th Anniversary.
The anniversaries just keep getting bigger. Cismontane Brewing of Santa Margarita (& Santa Ana) will celebrate 6 years of brewing in Orange County and once you buy your tickets you will be able to get 8oz pours of rare beers as well as all your favorites on May 7th starting at Noon.
